I am currently in week three of Benshen.co September course. Through daily meditations, practices, lectures and support I have been thinking about the direction of this blog.. The blog I leave for months at a time. And as many good mentors etc say, I realise i just need to start. One foot in front of the other.
Once I hit the keyboard I always find something that is desperate to be shared. No planning, Just starting.
I ALWAYS love to hear what people love to do, eat, experience and read. So to get myself back on the sharing wagon (which I LOVE) I thought I would start with a little round up of anything that sparks curiosity, joy, health or wisdom for me most recently.
Pinterest has been my favourite form of inspiration recently. I find is a beautiful, visual reminder of ME! I pin anything I love. It is the perfect vision board for me. I highly recommend getting back in to your own, Pin with reckless abandon, It is so interesting to review themes that come, go, stay. More often I have an over arching theme across my own and when I feel a bit distracted form my path, I check back in and find it so beneficial.
A book I am currently reading is Start with why by Simon Sinek. So far I am fairly captivated. I always, always, want to know the WHY. And know in my experience, when I am clear on my own WHY I am a better leader. Weather that is in sales, design consulting or communicating with a team. Once I have finished the book I will come back with a further review
Podcasts I am loving right no and always are founders stories, A few faves are with Amanda Chantal Bacon form moon juice. I relate to her on so many levels and am always so invested in story that involves a food/health business. Coupleof episodes here on To Be Magnetic, The expanded podcast. Then an older episode on Pias Pod is another fave. And one I have gone back to severalties, Is the founder story of Emica from Loco Love on Startup Creative
Speaking on chocolate, Loco Love is a staple in my week, My ultimate favourite little luxury. Every single detail is so beautifully executed. Try the peppermint and rose and goji, My all time faves. I love all that they stand for and do. Whole heartedly.
After two years of lockdown, my clothes shopping habit has almost ceased to exist. I am in desperate need for some high quality, well tailored and considered basics. JacandJack new collections look fab and this look on Keep It Chic has stayed in my mind.
Oh and I am singing this to all I know who have had any hair loss recently. Firstly I quit coffee, TOUGH, but beneficial. I have been drinking decaf, Loco Love Cacao, Dandelion etc as a substitute but one main stay has been this mushroom powder from Superfeast and this collagen from Nutra organics. Swear by this combo for hair growth… Consistency is key.
Lets all prioritise our health, wellbeing, relationships and connection to our inner voice. Keep well and take care.
With gratitude,
Bronwyn
