I missed blogs, So I started my own.
Blogs have taught me a lot. Skincare routines, How to cook, Where to eat, How other people live, travel and work and the importance of always sharing our best finds, ideas, recipes and everything in between.
While never have I had a personal blog, I have authored and created for blogs for work which aloud me to share beautiful spaces, homes, objects and places. Nothing makes me happier than sharing something that brings me joy, hope, help or a good meal.
In recent years I feel as though social media kind of became the new way to indulge the above, In quick bite size pieces from multiple sources. While I have definitely been trapped in this cycle, I have also missed blogs. Not so much for sponsored ad posts or the like but the stories. People sharing the daily treasures that bring them joy satisfaction and a beautiful life.
All through the brutal lockdowns last year I got grossly addicted to instagram to pass time. Secretly wishing my favourite blogs were still as relevant for me as they used to be. Naturally we grow and evolve, So some blogs simple gave me what I needed at the right time, While others grew quite big or become a heavily branded business type situation and there were less authentic voices, For me personally, to indulge.
Im starting my blog in the hopes that there may be someone out there hoping to witness another daily inspirations, banter and aesthetics. It feels like a great time to bring back the blog, To reignite the imagination away from an algorithms, advertising or echo chamber, share some stories and personal favourites.
Lets all get inspired and excited and share all of the beautiful things in life. I hope by sharing what I believe makes our lives, plates, spaces and minds a more beautiful place, It will generate and contribute to the larger conscious and beauty of life.
